Who is this course for?

For pregnant women and their partners at every stage of pregnancy. Due to the individual course of classes, we suggest starting the course between the 21st and even the 35th week of pregnancy.

What you will learn from the course.

  • Preparation for childbirth: the birth plan, choosing a hospital for childbirth, how to massage the perineum, learning conscious breathing, hospital - how to prepare, when to go to the hospital.
  • Childbirth, that is: stages of labor, methods of pain relief, how to give birth without a partner, about caesarean section - planned and not.
  • How to exercise and work your body during pregnancy and childbirth.
  • You will learn about pharmacological and non-pharmacological methods of pain relief during labor.
  • Newborn baby: instructions how to handle a baby, what to expect, what may surprise you?
  • Postpartum: how to prepare for this difficult time? We will tell you about postpartum depression and baby blues.
  • Lactation: a comprehensive recording with a Certified Lactation Advisor preparing for breastfeeding and self-solving basic lactation problems - a compendium of lactation knowledge.
  • You will learn how to cope with engorgement and how to stimulate lactation.
  • You will learn how to properly latch your baby on to the breast and how to tell when your baby is full.
  • Newborn Care: you will learn how to lift, swaddle, bath and take care of your baby, you will also learn the beauty hits and kits and the most common problems and how to solve them.
  • You will learn when to go for your first walk and how to properly buckle your child into a car seat.
  • You will learn what and how to bathe a newborn.

How to prepare for a course?

  • It's a good idea to bring an exercise ball with you during class. If you don't have one, you can use a chair.
  • Dress comfortably, in athletic clothing so it doesn't restrict your movement. We'll be exercising.
  • As part of the purchased course, two people can participate in the classes: the pregnant woman and her accompanying person.
  • Two days before the start of classes, you will receive all course-related information, as well as print and video materials, by email.
  • The course lasts 8 hours (4 meetings of 2 hours each or according to your preferences).
  • Meetings with the midwife are held via Zoom or WhatsApp, depending on your preference.
  • Classes take place on business days.
